Hem means "Ice" and Kund means "Bowl". Hemkund Sahib is the famous Gurudwara in the Chamoli District of Uttarakhand in India. It is devoted to the tenth Sikh Guru named as Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Each year thousands of devotees come here to take holy dip in HemKund. It is a lake surrounded by seven mountain peaks at the height of around 4632 meters from the sea level. It closes down in the winter season due to snowbound path. Valley of Flower is located in the Chamoli District of Uttarakhand in India. It was discovered by Frank Smith while on the Expedition to Mt. Kamet. This Valley covered by rare species of flowers & a wide variety of Butterflies, Musk Deer, Brown Bear, Blue Sheep, Red Folx are found here.
Pick up in the morning from (Haridwar/Rishikesh) and a pleasing view drive to Govindghat and later take rest in the night stay at Govindghat. During this travel you get to witness and experience the formation of Himalayas from Shivalik hills to the Greater Himalayas known as Himadri and PANCH PRAYAG {Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag, Karanprayag , Rudraprayag , Devprayag } and understand how GANGA takes its ultimate form and elevate your body from 340 m/1,120 ft.(Rishikesh) to 1,800m/6000 ft.(Govindghat) and acclimatize your body to the environment. Govindghat is situated the Greater Himalayas so you get to experience the mountains at its best. Govind Ghat last place where ATM is available and Helipad is nearby)
After breakfast drive to share car to Pulna village 4 Km. Arrive to Pulna village start your journey to a beautiful Mountain View trek from Govindghat to Brahmakamal Base camp Ghangaria welcomes you in a luxury cottage stay for night (Helicopter service is also available from Govindghat to Ghangaria helipad) Starts with the mystic view of the Bhyundar Valley and the 12km trek where you get to see Pulna village, Bhyundar village, a mesmerizing trail, beautiful waterfalls, Snow covered mountains and see how it is to live truly in Himalayas. A local Guide from the village also comes to with you to make you experience the trek more wholly and see the hidden gems along the way and at the end you reach the best campsite location possible in the lap of majestic mountains and the hospitality and the good food of Brahmakamal Camp and enjoy a night full of stars there.)
Trek from Camp to Hemkund Sahib pilgrimage site with its setting of a glacial lake surrounded by seven mountain peaks then back to Camp for night stay (12km two side) (this day your trek to Hemkund Sahib the highest gurudwara in the world and Shri Laxman Mandir a 6 km trek one side taking you the elevation of 4,300m and experience the beautiful Snow lake Hemkund and the flower Brahmakamal which is a sacred flower and see a number of snow covered mountains and back to camp)
In the next morning around 7am start Trek to Valley of flowers from base camp Brahmakamal and reached and back to Camp for night stay (8km two side) Morning of day 3 your guide shows you the way to Valley of flowers a 4 km trek and as described by a great traveller and writer Frank S. Smythe “the most beautiful valley that any of us had seen “. And you understand the words more by experiencing the valley by yourself and local guide will tell you everything you need to know about this valley and back to Camp for a relaxing evening enjoying local delicacies and night a deep sleep after the trek) Valley of Flower was discovered by Frank Smith while on the Expedition to Mt. Start from 12 Kms trek from Ghangaria to Govind Ghat, drive to Joshimath from Govind Ghat. Check in Hotel. Overnight stay.
Drive from Joshimath/Govindghat to Rishikesh/Haridwar. Drop to railway station or pre booking hotels. Tour End.
